Lucia Gargicevich-Almeida
Grants Assistant
I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Davis with a B.A. in Sociology-Organizational Studies and a minor in Communication. I have experience in working for non-profits as I was an intern for the United in Unity organization for two years. I also have experience in working with grants and donors as I was an intern for Development and Alumni Relations at UC Davis. I love to write and am passionate about helping others. I have found that grant writing gives me the opportunity to pursue my passions while helping our clients achieve their goals.
Rachel Nickens

I hold a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California - Davis and an M.A. in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Cincinnati. I'm a passionate educator and I currently work as a Lecturer in the Sociology Department and the Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies Department at UC Davis. I'm especially interested in supporting projects that concern children and youth, women's issues, education, and contemporary social problems.
